Best site - Santander

Travelling to santander on the ferry in october.Does anybody have any site they can recommend near to the town as we have heard its worth a visit ? Thank you.

    camping oyambre, it is 45 minutes out of Santander dual carriageway for most of route, but good site, great facilities including indoor/outdoor pool, 10 minutes walk to beach which will be dog friendly in October. good variety of pitches including fully serviced pitches with some great views, shop which only has the basics, bar/restaurant. Loved it stayed 4 days on our way to and from the Costas

    The two nearest sites are Cabo Mayor - but it closes on 14 October - and Virgen del Mar - but it doesn't accept dogs.

    We have no dogs  and we arrive on the 10th and would like to stay near the town if possible.Just wondered which site was best.After that we go to the Algarve.
