Swift Conqueror - electrics?
Hi - I have just splashed out on a 2018 Conqueror - but clearly wasn't paying enough attention at handover - I don't seem to be able to switch the power on - 240v power - things are working on the Battery - but no the power points. The quick start up book has a picture of a board with something like four lights on - mains - batt charger etc. But I have no idea where to find that board. The main control panel over the door tells me I have battery power and the fridge is set for 4 degrees - but it can't find power. Its a 2 birth 480 Conqueror. While I can survive quite happily on a non hook up site - I would like to get the power going for some of the trip! The gas works fine - but I will have to swap bottles if I can't get power going! So any help would be appreciated - I am not holding out a lot of hope of the dealer being helpful tomorrow when I call! Many thanks.

Pippah45, l think you need to press the black button on the Sergeant control box. Mine is under the front off- side bunk. That should switch your 230volt systems on. Then press your charger button and heating buttons next to it. Hope that helps.
Then make sure the breaker switches below them are all in the up position.

Pippa - no idea if this will help but just Googled "swift electrics" and found this -
"This small unit, which is unique to caravans, is located in the front bed box. The unit ... Black lever switch, far left – Residual Current protection Device (RCD) and main 230V on / off switch."
There is a PDF with more details. Might be what you're looking for?

Pippah45, I never bother, I just leave it all on. I am hooked up at home so just leave everything unless I want to work on something. It can occasionally trip out, but then you know it’s working!
Oh, the red light will tell you if you have reversed polarity, but again not a problem if you don’t play with anything.
Enjoy your new van.

Well I found the switch but I still don't have power in the sockets or the fridge working - the radio turns on even though switched off if you see what I mean. I guess I need to check the lead out - it was brand new with the caravan so shouldn't be a problem.
