3 hrs delay for us yesterday, it was pretty chaotic especially in the high vechicle parking area.   We also had a bonus 20 minute delay when we arrived in France because they couldn’t get one of the carriage doors open.   Then it was in patches just about the windiest condititions I have ever towed in and met with monsoon condition while we were pitching end up like drown rats  No where to plug in the ehu.  So we did the only rational thing we could and went to the bar

Don’t think that there is any escape going by ferry, I am getting reports of at least 90minute delays at Dover.

However sun is shining and we will be on our way soon.

Boff at least you're over there now 😉. Put it all down to experience 😂.  Seriously glad you've arrived safely, doesn't sound like it was a good trip however it can only get better from now on. Enjoy.

Boff, did Eurotunnel keep you informed by text on the situation?

Not so bad for us with motorhomes and caravans, but what do the other travellers do when they are stuck at the roadside for hours and want to relieve themselves. ??

If your a bloke, and in the 5hr queue too far from the terminal, just remember you are going to France, so practice your French customs and do what lots of male french drivers do - just relieve yourselflaughing!
