Motor home sites in the Loire area

Can anyone please help us to complete the planning for our first motor home holiday?

We have 6 nights remaining to complete our Summer holiday to France.Where we will have hopefully just spent 4 wonderful days at Les Saules campsite in the Loire region visiting the local chateaux and castles.

We will conclude the 2 weeks in Brugge on the final night. 

We aim to remain in the Loire or adjoining area and would welcome any recommendations as to where too visit and stay for the remaining days. 

We prefer countryside and river walks with pretty villages and historical attractions (reachable by moped).  NO PRESSURE THEN!!

    We have stayed at Camping L'ille d'Offard at Saumur and had a very enjoyable stay.  As an alternative, there is a motorhome aire just outside the gates as well.

    It's a 10 minute walk into a very interesting town.

    Hi Moorez, not sure which route you will be taking from the Loire to Bruges, but there is a municipal campsite (and M/H Aire) at Pont de L'Arche just east of Rouen.  A nice little town, with a riverside walk, and a bus into Rouen.   Rouen is definitely worth a visit.
