Norway - daily mileage to cover
Just planning my trip to Norway & Sweden and wondering how many miles in a MH I could expect to cover in a day without over doing it.
It is the more remote area from the South coast upto Bergen, to Trondheim and then over to Ostersund in Sweden.
Mountainous roads, hills & bends, 150 - 250 miles or less / more than this. Travel days would be every 2nd or 3rd day with a day or two's rest in between
Anyone been there and can share their experience ?

You need to bear in mind there is a national speed limit of 50m.p.h so your average speeds are going to be quite low especially if ferry crossings are involved, In my view it is not worth hurrying anywhere in Norway because there is so much to see and appreciate. On >our trip < there I recall we averaged 60 miles a day.

We drove from Donegal in the north west corner of Ireland to Norway twice in the last 5 years - though that was before we got our caravan
Fantastic place to visit, we drove from Oslo to Bergen over the glacier and I have to say it was a pretty hairy journey - you`d think coming from Donegal we`d be used to narrow twisty roads but they take it to another level in Norway - we really didn`t get above 50mph at any time and 200 miles took all day
We were advised by Norwegian friends to buy fuel on a Sunday, apparently it is cheaper but I have no idea why
Have a brilliant time, I am jealous!
