average speed camera's on way to euro tunnel

hi all

as from today if you are heading to the tunnel or dover port there are now average speed camera's from junction 9 to junction 10 on the M20. with a speed of 50 mph they say that they will be in place for two years while they are building a new junction at Ashford Kent.  happy holidays not speeding ticket wink

    Living in the SouthEast I often travel on the M26/M20 and invariably have my cruise control set for 72mph (unless otherwise marked).   I'm always shocked by the number of vehicles which shoot past me as though I was doing 45.   Motorway patrol vehicles seem to be a thing of the past.

    Swmbo used to bitterly complain when I set my limiter to the speed limit and then sit there while numerous others would speed past us at 10, 15 and possibly 20 mph faster. That was until recently when, on two separate occasions, we saw a number of cars being flashed by the speed cameras. Now she doesn’t pass comment.
