P+O Brasserie booking?

Hi,

l may be going mad, but l thought l had read fairly recently on this forum that you can reserve a table at the Brasserie restaurant prior to boarding the ferry?

In a recent attempt at doing this with our reservation with the CAMC after a lengthy period of holding the line, the lady informed us you could only reserve a table at the other restaurant. Once on board you changed it for a Brasserie reservation?

Sailing at peak time Hull to Zeebruge, we often find the boat quite full so we’re trying to avoid the disappointment of the restaurant being full!

Any advise please?

Cheers,

Steve.

Can P&O customer services not help you? Perhaps phone them and give your booking details and see whether they can give you the restaurant reservation ?

Been trying to do same but response last week from customer services

" Thank you for your email.

Generally the Brasserie works on a first come, first served basis so therefore passengers are not able to book. As long as you have pre-booked seats in the Brasserie you should be able to get a table."

Problem I have had in past is we have been one of last to board so restaurant by then booked up frown

You can book prior to boarding but only through P&O not the club.

The link to the P&O website which says this is HERE

You need to phone P&O, though why anyone would want to is beyond us. We think the food in both restaurants (sic) is overpriced and awful.  The only saving grace of the Brasserie is that they serve wonderful wines from the Three Choirs vineyards in Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

We still yearn for the "Midnight Smörgåsbord" on Sally Ferries.

Must admit we never eat on board these days, too pricey not that great food and too busy. We tend to eat before getting on or take something on board and eat in the cabin in peace and quite. We are off on this ferry on Wednesday.
