Camino De Santiago English Way.
Hi. My name is Bruce Jones. I am planning on doing the short Camino De Santiago. Known as the Englisy Way. From Ferrol to Santiago later this year. My problem is that I am having difficilty finding sites along this route. My question is. Has anyone done this particular Camino or been around this area of Galicia and used any local sites. Bruce, I'm not sure of your plan. Are you intending to carry a small tent and sleep under the stars, or have someone drive a caravan ahead of you and meet him or her every night at an organised site?
The former is a non starter for most people because of the extra weight to be carried, and the problem with the latter is that formal caravan sites are mostly away from the walking route. With the ability of a Motorhome and a driver to park overnight in Aires or car parks that might well work
So most people try to travel light and sleep in hostels, refuges, guest houses or hotels. Caminoguidebook.com on line might help you. Good luck .

You could check out the ACSI website. I found this campsite, Campsite Camino de Santiago, 09110 Castrojeriz (Castilla y León) but I don't know if that is on the section you wish to explore. You could try to Google campsites near to the places you want to explore. As ET said many people that walk the Camino stay at hostels en route as my son did when he walked the Camino.

We stayed on this site a few years back. When we were there it was very wet and muddy, but nevertheless it was a lovely little site with an excellent restaurant and right on the Camino. The village of Castrojerez is very interesting, with lots of old pilgrims' hostels and an old castle on the hill right above the campsite.
On that particular trip we followed the Camino from the French border at St Jean Pied de port, crossing the Pyrenees at Roncesvalles, then via Pamplona and Burgos. You can read about it in a section of our blog (which is still in the course of reconstruction having lost our old Travelpod one).
