Camping Les Trieux near to Namur, Belguim

I would like to have an overnight stop near to Namur, but there is only one site in the Club's Touring Europe guide. That site is Camping Les Trieux in the village of Malonne. The site is up a 200m 1:7 hill although there is a longer less direct route that by passes the hill. 

Has anyone used the site and is the hill okay, as on Stretview the road looks to be pretty poor surface which may have been under repair at the time.

 

Outfit is Skoda Superb Estate 4x4 170ps towing 1300kg caravan, so it shouldn't pose problem to the outfit, but any feedback would be useful.

    Hi clivea, we have used the site, although it was 8 years ago, and had a similar outfit match at the time.   The hill was steep, but the road was relatively wide compared to many site access roads and we had no trouble at all.  

    There were other vans on site and we didn't see or hear of anyone having major problems.  Hope that helps.

     Well the google image is 5 years old and the board sign says 20 working days, so hopefully by now you should have a decent road surface.👍
