Advice re Spain travel with dog

Looking for any help advice to assist with our trip to Spain April 2018. We will be travelling with our Springerdor and ideally would like to stay either near a beach that allows dogs or near a river or lake that is accessible. I am aware that beaches are restrict dogs and are few and far between. Ideally southern Spain as we are hoping for some warm weather to beat the UK weather.

Last time I was at Mazarron, the beach sign said "No dogs" from April to October IIRC. Not that people seemed to be taking any notice.

We stayed on the C&MH site at Marazion which was great. No fasciiities but we use our own. There is part of the beach at Marazion which is dog friendly all year round. Car parking is £1 all day or free after 6.00pm in the summer. Suited us down to the ground.

Two different places KW. Marazion is in Cornwall. Mazarron is on the Costa Calida in Spain.
