    Can I ask -- Is there plenty of sideways space on the car deck, as I don't want any 'dings' in my new Tiguan

    More space than the average supermarket car park. 

    Your caravan gives the extra space, it's wider than your car.

    Thanks for the heads up Harry, just saved £155 on a return trip (premium, Stena Plus lounge, flexible dates) in May.
