Touring to France - Advice Needed (Answers)
I've tried a few times this morning to answer the above post, but each time I get an 'Page cannot be displayed due to an Internal Server Error' - so here's my reply instead. I read the post in the other section first and was about to reply when it came up with the message. I was able to read Comeyras's reply, but then it 'disappeared' again and now I can't access it at all.
I would have asked the same questions as Comeyras, but also asked what sort of site are you looking for? Do you want one where the children are entertained, and there is a bar, restaurant and take-away, or would a simpler site with no bells and whistles suit you? How far do you want to 'tour'? Roads in France are easier with a caravan so longer distance travel is possible, and you may want to go further south for the sun, or stay in the north for the first time. Are there any places you think you'd like to see? Do you have any particular interests as a family - or activities such as cycling, canoeing, etc?
There really are sites and areas to suit everyone in France and we love it there! We've been holidaying in France since 1981 and now have a holiday home there so I'd love to help and I only hope you can read this reply!
