Use ACSI Cards - try Best Deal

I know that there are very many of us who use an ACSI card - and happily pay for the card and guides, but there is a possible alternative now with Best Deal - which is free.  You can download the Best Deal card and print at at home, and you can download site guides giving the Best Deal price (which on three sites I've checked seems to be the same as ACSI).  I'd suggest that anyone who signs up to ACSI should also sign up to Best Deal - alternatives are always good!

Thanks Val - helpful as ever and it will be useful to many people.

If the sites we like are in the Best Deal scheme I will certainly use it. But as those favourite sites aren't in ACSI or Camping Cheques or this Club's voucher list already then it seems unlikely that Best Desl will have them. I will have a look. But I think we will still go where we want to regardless of discounts. Waitrose rather than Lidl....

Thanks for posting. Regards to you.

Sorry to say this ET but I don't think your analogy with Waitrose and Lidl is pertinent.

We have stayed on many a site particularly in France which could in your analogy be described as Poundland but have turned out to be smashing sites and ones we have returned to when in those areas.

As far as we are concerned we don't really mind what the price is, (within reason), as long as it's clean and well run. Other factors obviously come into play but I'm happy to use any discount card available.

A thank you to Val. I downloaded the card and membership following her last post about Best Deal. We may well use it in Germany next year, who knows.

2 years ago in Germany we used our ADAC membership card to get a discount on a site that accepted them. It was just their breakdown card but we got a 25% reduction. Sometimes it pays to ask.

I normally get my ACSI  card from Vacarious books, but have not heard from them this year. I checked their website to be informed that they have had a major update and all those of us registered before August 2017 have been Deleted User from their records. The price of the Europe Guide and Card is £18. Phew!  The Club price is £12.50 with delivery.

You can get a 'combination subscription ACSI Card, Guide and including the App' from ACSI themselves for €12.95 (inc discount) plus €3.50 postage.  https://webshop.acsi.eu/en/checkout/cart/

But check out Best Deal as they are adding more sites, and their card costs nothing and can be printed out at home.  Best Deal sites can be downloaded from Archies Camping as a separate file.
