For those who may be affected, like us, I see that the French Unions have called for a day of action against President Macron, on September 12th. Just make sure your fuel tank is full and you have enough to eat on board!!

The last time we were in France during a 'strike' the Farmers were revolting and they blocked all the bridges over the Seine for 24 hours - heck of a disruption for those wanting to cross but we just parked up in a nearby Aire and sat out the problem.

    This time - who knows?

Perhaps baguettes might be later arriving in the shops.

On a recent visit apart from the odd riot it was generally very quiet.

They did say it would happen on a Tuesday but changed it to a Thursday without telling anyone.wink

Fuel was available if you were prepared to look for it but do heed Cs advice.
