Adventure to Spain

we have been caravanning for 6 years.for our main holiday we usually go to france.2018 we are going to spain.we are doing Eurotunnel and driving down to l'escala due to ferry prices being so high.we have 3 adults and 2 children.i am looking for advice on stopovers not sure if to do one or two stops and need advice on where to stopover.hope you can advise.julie

    A lot depends on the time you travel through the tunnel. Even if it is fairly early on in the day, a two stopper might be less arduous particularly with the potential for fractious children. The other factor is whether you intend using toll roads or keeping costs down by utilising the Route Nationale network.
