Route to Chateau Chanteloupe

On a recent trip to France we decided to stay at Chateau Cantaloupe. The trip down was uneventful until we followed the directions from the site book which took us through Ballon.

The site book says "Leave A28 at junction 21 and follow signs to Ballon (D6). In Courcemont turn right on to the D25 SP Beaufay, pass through Beaufay then take the D301 signed Sille-le-Philippe continue for approx 5km then turn left (campsite is signposted, just after war memorial) Caravans can also take this route, however the town of Ballon is quite narrow."

It is the bit about "Caravans can also take this route" that we find questionable, especially if like us you have a large outfit.

It would in our option be preferable to go down to Le Mans and follow the route up as directed.

When we stayed there we didn't have any problems with access on either direction into the site. Unless the unit is huge can't see it being a problem
