We pick our first caravan up at the end of the month, and are looking to head to the Almeria region of Spain in January. Any site recommendations would be appreciated.

    Click Overseas Holidays at the top of this page and you will get to the three sites at Almeria which this Club is recommending/reserving. There are reviews for some of them on there too, but other reviews on ACSI and the usual review sites. But read up about the area and the scenery of that area as well as reading site reviews, or fly down in the autumn to check things out. Good luck with it.

    We normally spend the winter out of the country but this is our first year in a caravan. Post April we have other commitments throughout the year

    Looking for a site on 1st February for 1 night around Madrid. Both club sites full. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

    You may find the sun, but make sure you take some winter coats as well! Here's Cath on the beach at Oliva, south of Valencia, in February.

    The site at Aranjuez is open all year, found not far south of Madrid. 

    We stayed at the site in Cabo de Gata when down in Almeria in February a few years ago. Weather was warm but windy and dry. Good value site with discounts for long stay.
