I think the best and most comprehensive Site Guide for Germany and any other Country is the ACSI Main Website.

Would you mind if I add a question? Apologies if I should have started a new question.
We are travelling in our motor home to Germany (The Black Forest) for the first time in September. We have our site all sorted out. But im unsure of the area, places to visit etc.
Included in our site is the Konus Card, so we would like to take advantage of that. We are unable to move around in our home as its quite large.
Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Where is the site you are staying on? There seem to be a few free transport schemes but the do have some limitations although not enough to prevent you getting out and about. Germany is usually very good for bikes if you have them with you.

Staufen im Breisgau which is the next town along is worth a visit and I would have thought not too much of a challenge on a bike, or you could use the train. For a slightly longer train journey I would suggest Freiburg which is rather nice.
