An excellent summary, untainted by a devotion to an organisation, whatever they might offer.
I would add, why on earth does someone join a Club that only offers a small percentage of service pitches, when their stated preference is for service pitches?
Surely better that they leave the Club.

One thread has already been closed recently because of the introduction of personal remarks and point scoring by some posters.
It seems it's beginning to creep into posts here too.
Please stick to making your point and avoiding personal remarks and point scoring or you will find that this discussion will be closed too!

All this twaddle about service and non service, pay up or shut up or leave, my preference is to charge for everything you use,leccky, showers, dogs,ect and if you do not need them you do not subsidise the rest of the membership that do.

We would always have EHU - wouldn't even go to a site that didn't have it as bookable just in case we couldn't get it - but serviced pitches hold no appeal.
If the serviced pitch was a bigger pitch we would probably book it and pay for it just for the space. Still use the aquaroll and wastemaster. Likewise if it was a better located pitch. However most of them seem to be poorly (to us) located near to the toilets so we generally avoid them if we can.0
