We don't have a twin axle, but we have long considered buying one and so have asked a lot of questions about movers.
If seems that if you want to make the caravan turn in anything approaching a 'tight' circle, you need an AWD mover. Even then, it won't turn on tbe spot, like a single axle.
In summary, if / when we buy a twin axle, we will have an AWD mover fitted.

I think it depends what you need from your mover,
their are plenty of people that have 2wd and are happy with the turning circle & kerb climbing ability,
I have a tight (ish) S bend & a kerb to climb to get our twin axle off the road & behind the hedge where we park it & even with an AWD it takes me a few shunts!
We ordered our TW at the NEC & it came with a 2WD mover in the deal,
after ordering I went to the Power Touch stand & showed them on google earth what I needed it to do & they advised I needed an AWD
so I went back & upgraded
