Arrived in france

hi there, we have arrived at domaine de soleil plage, very nice, very hot. Long journey to get here though.  Can anyone recommend an overnight stop around Orlean or Chartres on the way home, we are towing a caravan, thank you

    There is a site at Olivet just south of Orleans, which is good for an overnight.  There is also a site at Chartres, which is very convenient, but we weren't impressed the last time we stopped there but then it was raining, and the site was semi-flooded.  Just further north is Le Pre Eglise at St Remy sur Avre, which is also a pleasant overnight stop.

    This site http://www.davidklyne.co.uk/camping_les_ilots_de_st_val.html is not far from Chartres.

    Hi Angie

    Take a look at site Le-Chateau-des-Marais. Plenty of Members have stayed here for an overnight stop.
