I had been very poorly. I had cancer in my throat, I was depressed, sullen, horrible to my wife and kids, but I loved caravaning, so we, or I decided, to sell our farm. First I got shut shut of all the animals, this included 75 ewes, and numerous lambs, 4 breeding sows and two boars, 8 calves and a suckler cow, 35 chickens, plus all the farm machinery. so we waited, and waited, at first we had a couple of viewings, then in the second year of the selling process we had a few definite offers, well below the asking price. so I said to my lovely lady, do you realy want to sell, NO! she replied, I never wanted to, I thought you did?.

OK I said, lets stay and diversify, lets open a CL site.

So it began. We had to have a electricity supply, water and drainage, a septic tank, electric points and everything that goes with caravaning, and it cost us a fortune. I never realized just how much it would cost us, however, through all the hard work and pressure, we have made it! and we have our CL site, registered and up and running, we will never be millionaires, but the other good news is, I have had the all clear, my wife is still here, and we are open for business. Now my wife wants a pet lamb, o boy.
