split charge relay

I have a split charge relay in my freelander which I used to charge a spare battery for my caravan - however I have recently acquired a solar panel and have no use for the extra battery - my question is could I utilize the positive and negative feed from the relay to power a 12 volt wireless reversing camera or would the voltage be too high ??

    No reason why it should not work but the camera would be powered all the time the engine was running, I think the usual way is to power the camera from the reversing light circuit.
