Can anyone help with some info. We will be staying at Wyatts Covert site in Denham, Uxbridge soon. Has anyone stayed there and managed to get to the Grand Union canal tow path by bike along not too busy roads, or roads with footpaths alongside? Many thanks, Kathy

It might be worth having a look on Google Earth. I have just had a quick look and its about 3 miles from the site. If you use Street View it usually gives a fair impression of what the road looks like.

Hi We have stayed there this year, the canal is on the Harefield side of the main road (it's an A road can't remeber which) which is on the opposite side of the main road from the cliub site, not a good road to cycle on.

If you go right out of the site towards West Hyde the country road goes under the main road. I haven't been as far as the canal but I would think that is the best route to take.
