Correct Bradcott awning size

Does anyone know which Bradcot Awning size is correct for a 2012 Sterling Eccles Sport 585 - 990 or 1005. The A to B length of the caravan is 999.

    According to the brochure there is no 2012 year 585, but there is a 586. Not sure if you have the model number or the year wrong. The awning sizes are shown on the spec page of the brochures. You can find the brochures on http://www.nationwidecaravanninguk.com/brochure-archive?brand=Sterling but make sure you have the right model before buying one and if you have a 585 check the model years either side of 2012..

    If in doubt run a length of string from the ground at the front, through the awning rail to the ground at the back, which will give you the size.

    I would go for the size above on your figures.

    Thank you - we purchased our van last year from a reputable dealer as a 2012 model but like you, we have not seen a spec brochure for a 2012 585 however there is a YouTube video.
