Advice for 3 month European trip with 2 kids

Hello to all you experienced Caravanners and Motorhomers. We're planning a 3 month trip round Europe with our two children aged 8 and 6. We've done lots of big camping trips round France, but now we want to step up to a bigger trip - so our big question now is Caravan or Motorhome? I know there are pros and cons on both sides, but wondering if anyone's done a similar trip with children and has any top tips for us?
