Have you thought of solar panels??, they make no noise and the power they generate is freecool

a lot of generator manufacturers claim to be very quiet, the only one hat is reasonably so is the Honda, the power output would have to be quite high to cover all your needs and so the Honda would be very expensive and for that price you could get a very good solar system with a lot less maintenance and no running costs.

I would also think that if you are really camping 'wild' the last thing you would want to do is disturb the environment, and draw attention to yourself, by running a generator.

Or has the term 'wild' assumed a new meaning, and now  means  'parking somewhere (with no facilities) free for the night'. ?

120w+ solar panel and a second leisure battery to store all that lovely free power.

    a lot nicer than a genny....smile

ps, if you really need a mains hairdryer, an inverter will do the job..
