Normandy beaches by motorhome

Hi All

We are going to Normandy in May and would like to know if there are any recommended places to stay where we can access the historical areas either on foot or by bus once we have pitched the motorhome.
We will be staying 2 nights in Honfleur then making our way towards Cherbourg taking in Arromanche and Bayeux on the way.

    The American military cemetery at Colleville sur Mer - by Omaha Beach - is such a moving place. You can drive there and park a Motorhome easily - there is room for full sized coaches.
