Snow Chains for Motorhome

Hi all,

As we are off to Spain in 3 weeks I have decided to purchase a set of snow chains for my Ducato (4250k).     After much searching the web and speaking to someone at snowchains.co.uk, my preferred choice is the Thule/Konig XG12 Pro, priced at £160 on various web sites.

Before I go ahead, I would appreciate any advice on purchasing snow chains and other types you may have selected.   And, has anyone else bought the XG12s ? 

Last but not least; has anyone driven their motorhome in the snow using chains?   If so, how was it, what speed were you comfortable at?
