It would indeed M. One way perhaps. A circular is well beyond us now. When we were younger we used to spend a lot of time here. We have lapsed since I retired, we will have to visit more. It's only 120 miles from home. Rain tomorrow, although due to the timing of the front, if we drive over the top through it, we might get a walk around Ingleton tomorrow afternoon.

Dog had his annual trip to the vet this morning for booster jab, he wasn't that impressed 😉
Then had to renew my car insurance not too bad increase only a couple of pounds from last year, and this was down to increase in the IPT. Also still have one perk from working in insurance left, no admin charge.
Afternoon spent at work, but not too busy. Had a potter round the garden afterwards, sun had finally made an appearance.

Had a blitz on the housework yesterday and then tackled a mound of paperwork. Morning at the Cathedral today. Very busy with lots of visitors including a coach load of Americans doing a whistle stop tour of English Cathedrals 😁. Filing of some of the sorted paperwork this afternoon.
Happy birthday to your OH EasyT.
Glad your car insurance is sorted out satisfactorily Helen. Hopefully your dog has recovered from his trip to the vets. Bless him.

They purchased all the Homebase stores and are gradually rebranding them. Kj, given your liking for DIY you might well like them if have one nearby.

Just managed to get back from walking the dog before the rain arrived. Now pouring down.
Meeting up with a friend this morning, visit to the wool shop jn Chipping Norton and then coffee.
Argos sold Homebase just after our son went to work for the digital team at Argos, the Homebase team shared the same building, he said their office emptied overnight! We still have a Homebase, but for how long?

No because my wife's visa stipulates no recourse to public funds. So social housing is unavailable to us because she would have to have an appropriate visa for it.

We had a great day out yesterday. After visiting Brighton, much of which is 20 mph speed limit. I used the Smart car speed limiter to keep me within that limit as 20 mph is hard to judge, especially when you're under pressure from other traffic!
Next we drove about 30 miles to visit Nyman House and Gardens. We did the two and a half mile millenium walk through the woodlands there and then visited the house with all its information of the devastation caused by the October 1987 storm.
Then we had a walk around the gardens and saw the art exhibition which was very good.
On our way home we stopped at the Durrington Tesco Extra to do some shopping.
We've got up this morning to a very grey, overcast and wet morning.

Raining steadily here in the Pennines. We'll be off out for a walk in a bit, there's no such thing as bad weather just the wrong clothing.
Its back to watching football this evening the GS and I have tickets for our team's home friendly against the Italian mob from Udinese. It'll be good to see all our new signings in action.

Rest assured BB. If I stopped on an unmarked hard standing and set up I would not be moving. I presume that if a pitch is not marked by a MH either they may decide to move to another CC site (acceptable and takes a phone call) or that they are happy to take pot luck.
I am a caravanner though and not a mind reader

I think the problem is that motorhomes tend not to have 4 wheel drive with off road tyres, so are more likely to get stuck on grass in wet conditions. Most of the motorhomes here seem to be on hard standing pitches which are easier to get on and off.
