The weather forecasts and reports for much of the Spanish Mediterranean coast have been for rain and thunderstorms. We’ve stopped at Kiko Park at Oliva to have a rest from our city visits (23 campsites since we left home 6 weeks ago).

We’re pleased to report that, although we can see clouds all around us, we’re enjoying some late summer sunshine. Cath reports that the sea is warm, but not deep enough for proper swimming.

We’re only a few steps over the dunes to the seaside, so it’s easy to pick up our chairs and head for the beach. It’s a very shallow sandy beach so swimming can be difficult. Nonetheless, Cath has been back in the sea with her noodle.

I was watching people swim on the Dorset coast today, a bit choppier than the med!
