Milestone, Newark was our final trip of this year. Visits to Lowdham Caravans at Gunthorpe, Nottingham and then into Newark (market town, large open market place, castle, historic buildings, River Trent). Excellent Chinese restaurant at Weston - The Great Wall on Friday night. Saturday into Lincoln (Cathedral, castle, Steep Hill, shopping, Roman remains etc) and a quick visit into Sleaford on the Sunday (old market town). Beautiful weather too and only £16.50 per night inc electricity.

Quick trip home, wash the van down, empty out all water, open taps, stand up the seats, open all cupboards, turn off gas etc etc etc. Amazingly managed to get the cover over it easily this time and waved goodbye until March. Another year done.

    Sounds like you have had a bust time, well done getting the van ready for winter. We like Lincoln but have not visited the others. Regards, Roy

    Tonight I will be mostly planning our trips for next year ready to get booking in the morning.... And can't wait for our New Years Eve trip to Pembrey Park... Itching to get the van out again...
