On our last trip of the year to Henly-on Thames and onto the Wye valley at Hereford we had a fractuous incident. At Henly (lovely site pitty about the road)  I was relaxing outside the van when there was an almighty Bang--No Smoke orFlames , so I went to investigate and was surprised to find the interior of the van covered in small  glass fragments----the cooker Glass lid had shattered due to the Electric plate being left on. I was lucky that I was outside and my wife was walking the dog------Soooooooo beware electric plates!!!!
