I have a 2010 Bailey Pegasus 514, this has just had a full service on the 27th August 2013 by a Bailey Dealer, it travelled from the dealer to my home address and parked there, travelling not more than 4 miles. On the 2 October I travelled to the Forest of Dean, the caravan was parked on site for 5 days, on the 7th October we started the return journey, on the A49 after covering a total of 133.7 miles the near side wheel fell off the caravan. The caravan is now with the dealer that serviced the caravan. In reply the dealer stated IT IS MY JOB TO CHECK THE WHEELS NUTS WERE ON CORRECTLY????. They informed me that all the NUTS on the wheels were set at the right torq, and if the wheels were not on correctly it would have come off after the first mile or so. THE SERVICE WAS LESS THAN 5 WEEKS OLD AND I ONLY COVERD 133.7 MILES????. Is there a problem with the wheels on the 2010 Bailey Pegasus 514 or is there a problem with the dealer????. I understand that there have been reports that this has happened with other Bailey caravans.
