Site WiFi problems and emails
Site WiFi problems. Whilst staying on site I use my laptop, but have a problem with the Caravan Club site WiFi and emails.
My laptop system is a 64 bit Windows 7, and I use Microsoft Outlook 2010 for the emails. On Caravan Club site I cannot send or receive emails and have error messages 0x800CCCOD (sending) and 0x800408FC (receiving).
I can access my emails using the BT web site, and likewise send emails from the same BT site.
I have no problems using WiFi/Microsoft Outlook staying on independent sites or Caravan & Camping Club Site. Looking at members postings, my problem is not unique with WiFi issues on the Caravan Club Sites.
Doing a web check the error messages are common, and the advice is to check the computer and router. My computer and settings work fine. The problem appears to be with the WiFi supplier, unfortunately the suppliers ‘call centre’ tells me this problem has never been reported before – the posting on the Caravan Club site tell me lots of members have had the same problem, but presumably not reporting them!
If you have had a similar problem with site WiFi and emails it may help if these are reported to the Club.
