Im new to the ♣ Caravan Club ♣, I have been staying in Flamborough at a "CL Site" called Danes Wood Farm, however i can not find this listed on any websile as a CL Site, so I ask! should it be on the listings of is this site not a CL site, how should the General Camper section of this camp site differ to the CL section??

OK CL's are 5 van sites that have been inspected & approved   by CC for quality of site & suitability of facilities. advice is given by the club site inspection Team & if sultable will be included in directory. If the site is not included then it is not
a club CL If it is ythen it should have a certifacate

Ah thank you for that, i have just learnt also as i have just got back from a weekend at my van, that this site was struck off the CL list, hardly surprising really, I was there this week end and its full of idiots lol, police there every night, shouting,
drugs and people fouling in hedges... time to move on i think!

    Kind Regards

I also have recently visited this site, I will not be returning, late night singing, shouting, drugs, a group of lads using the wood as a public toilet, property being stolen and damaged, I also heard rumours of an awning being previously 'trashed', I watched
one regular family pack up and leave because of the going ons, this was a family who had been going for some years, like I said I will not be returning there! From what I could work out from the 'warden' (when he was sober) even he was fed up.

oh yes, im still there up near the top of the field next to the willows, its a right carry on there, im looking for somewhere else now in the area, on the waiting list for the grange, trouble is i need a site with storage :( and i go through winter seasons
where daneswood is really quiet then, last week the police was there 3 times, the ice cream men were fighting, there was a family there for 6 weeks (THE SINGING) the wrestlers if thats what they call themselves are leaving not soon enough (the woods toilet)
oh its the worse summer by far :)

I have to agree, your post made me chuckle, the ice cream men fighting, I am not suprised when there are 3 or 4 of them coming up a day, I have now relocated.

I collected my caravan from here on Saturday and located to another site, I had to pack up and leave in August and cut my holiday short by weeks :o( my children were disappointed, could not understand why we were having to leave. I could not stay on with
all the trouble being caused, my children were being woken by loud mouths as for the motorbike man well I dont know who he thinks he is, its very clear what he does though as the smell of drugs seeping into my caravan while we were there was not good. I did
not want to relocate as I have had some good times at Daneswood, however, I did not spend all my saving on a caravan to not be able to use it. We were lucky enough to find a site with storage so we hope to have many more years of caravan holidays with the
    children.

If you need storage the CC site at Brid has it. when we were there in the summer  there seemed to be plenty of spaces in the compound.
