Chatsworth after the crowds
Many people have complained on the forum that they can never get in Chatsworth Club site as it is so popular. Do yoursef a favour and keep trying.
We live relatively locally and even though we have the delights of crossing or bypassing Sheffield before we can get to the site it is still well worthwhile.
Not only do you have access (with reduced price) to the House, Gardens and Farm Park from site but locally there are many other attractions - Bakewell, Haddon Hall, Caudwells Mill, Eyam (plague village), 9 Ladies Stone Circle, Arbor Low Stone Circle (Neolithic), Buxton, Castleton etc etc. Too much to mention.
But that isn't why we go there. Check the photos. We like to walk into the Parkland when all of the crowds have gone and up to the village of Baslow for dinner and a pint. Brilliant to recharge the batteries.

I agree keep trying it is well worth it. The same applies to Rowntree park in York, why oh why this is open to non-members I will never know, it has taken me literally years to get a pitch there, I am sure the club could fill Rowntree park time and time
again with members only!!!!0 -
Maybe some of these more popular sites should be members only, a bonus as such for being a member. Plus it would encourage other caravanners to join the club!
