Thunderbirds are go!
Last week at Malvern (beutiful site) a large six-wheeled motor home pulled onto the pitch opposite us. No one got out, but four hydraulic rams came down and the vehicle did a little jig as the rams found the perfect level. Then a huge satellite dish emerged from the roof and started scanning the skies to and fro until it found the perfect signal. It was just like watching Thunderbirds! We waited to see what kind of people owned such a luxurious beast, but still no one emerged from the vehicle. Later a scouse guy stopped me as I left the shower block, (can't do the Liverpool accent here) "Eh! Is that your big German motor over there? Eh! It's got hydraulic rams thadas, Eh! that's hoondred grand thadis!" I could help but giggle. Never did see the owner - could it be the Stig on holiday?
