Side Marker LED Lights failure
The front offside LED marker light on my Bailey Pursuit 530-4 wasn’t working so, since lights aren’t covered by the warranty, I bought a replacement. It turns out that they are held on by sticky-back plastic with two lugs inserted through the upper half
of the awning rail. One of these lugs carries the two quite long wires with spade connectors at the end.
So I carefully removed the faulty unit and, as I ‘eased’ the lugs out of their holes, the wires snapped! I can reach one with tweezers but when I pull it, only the plastic sleeve emerges and is stretching. It looks as though the wires are stuck, perhaps
pinched in the construction, or caught in excess adhesive.
Has anyone had this problem and solved it? Can I get at the wires without demolishing the whole van (warranty springs to mind!). Or is it a trip to the Dealer to sort it out?
