Oops!, Romans building Augustinian Priory?

I notice that on page 30 of the latest club mag (CL sites : Touring) that there is a picture of Colchester's Priory which was founded around 1100 AD, but its construction is then attributed to the Romans who departed these shores some 700 years earlier.

Unless of course the Club is privy to hitherto unknown information that the building was sub-contracted to an Italian Building firm based in Rome?
