is this a design fault on our new swift challenger

First outing with van, closed divide door between kitchen and bed, the material door came away from the plastic curtain rail because of a split in the plastic rail. New rail on order but I feel that the door (because of the amount of plastic frame around
the material) is too heavy for the roof curtain rail. Has this happened to anyone else with a new swift.
