Just come back from visiting Ypres. Actually visiting an uncle's grave in Erquinghem-Lys, France. He was killed in action on 22 April 1915. Just to say that, even now, its very busy, and will probably get more so into the summer. When visiting the Menin
Gate's Last Post at 8:00, you had to get there at least half an hour before just to get a spot, we didn't though, because 1) we've already seen it and 2) the breeze was really chilly blowing through it. If you've never been, make sure you do go, its a really
moving experience. And don't forget, if you visit any cemetaries, sign the registers, it means that they are not forgotten
