Voting (just a query)

Has anyone out there done a proxy vote?  My OH is in hospital at the moment, and I've requested a proxy vote, but not yet heard anything (I sent in the signed form by email).  Do I just go to the voting station and will they be aware that I will be voting
on behalf of someone else?

I hope your wife is home soon Tombar and sorry don't know the answer to that - I think I would try taking her card in with you and explaining but not sure that would work - they must have a strict rule book?

Have a look at "about my vote" on the web.

This tells you about the emergency proxy vote that can be applied for up to 5pm today if there is a sudden emergency. There is a link to use it.

I'm not sure if your husband's vote falls into this category Tombar as the usual proxy vote deadline has ended. Hope all goes well for your OH.

edit I had no idea about this til I looked it up now!

Thanks guys (although its hubby in hospitalHappy), but I just went (it was an emergency proxy rather than a normal proxy), and they had
my details on a list they hold.  Done.

Hubby is doing fine at the moment, hopefully, will be doing his tube operation for dialysis, hopefully, tomorrow
