You can`t help wondering if some accessories are ever tested in the `real world` before being put on the market. In 25 years of caravanning my award goes to the Alco wheel lock supplied with many new vans. The tolerance is so miniscule that you need a patient
assistant or better still a motor move to make fine movements of the wheel before the plate can be screwed into place. Having a twin axle requires one wheel to be jacked up and rotated to achieve success. It probably worked fine for the engineer using just
the bare Alco chassis on a concrete floor. Try it out for real on a sloping grass site etc. Surely if the outside of the plate overlapped the wheel spokes rather than being recessed into them with such a tight clearance it would be ok
