In order to run our sat dish to the caravan we had the usual inlet F plug fitted to the exterior. Thankfully it also  carried a second coax socket in case we needed to connect to a site's tv relay system. In use I found screwing the small F plug whilst holding up the rain flap was a pain. I have cut off the F plug and replaced it with a coax. I did the same on the lead connecting to the interior wall socket so both are now simple push fit using the sockets meant for normal tv signals (you still have to use the F plug on the other end of the lead to the tv).  The external input is not part of any TV aerial amplifier. It cost less than £5.
