Gas Consumption when off EHU

Having made the move to Safefill I decided to re-connect a Calorlite just to use up its gas and warm the van up before a trip away. I ran the Alde wet heating for 48 hours at just 10c and was amazed to find that it had used up an almost full cylinder in the process. If going off EHU in cold winter spells you need a decent amount of gas. I would be interested to hear of other experiences on expected consumption rates, particularly when running both the Alde heating and a fridge.
