Toilet Fluid- is Green less efficient.

For years we have used the 'blue toilet fluid which has proved satisfacory. However when booking a CL the owner insisted we use only a green product to suit his sanitation. I bought a gallon of the stuff and found it very ineffective. Is this down to the green type being 'kinder' to the environment and as a result weaker in performance? Has anybody else noticed any difference between the two?
