Solar Panel Rigid vs Flexible

Just arranging to have a 120 watt solar panel fixed to caravan roof. The job will be done by the Bailey dealer from whom I bought the caravan. He recommends rigid rather than flexible as he says they run cooler in summer which improves performance. Although slightly heavier we have plenty of weight margin. Another advantage is it is easier to transfer the panel to a another caravan should we change. Any views please on the advantages/disadvantages.
