Mark all as read!

Because I am not receiving notifications I have taken to clicking the "Mark all as read" so that the next day i only need to read thsoe posts that are showing New Posts.

Unfortunately this is not working as one thread had 66 "new" replies but the majority of the new replies were weeks or even months old.

Can this please be fixed allong with the "Notifications" issue?
