Shortage of Calorlite refills?

There appears to be a shortage of Calorlite refill bottles at present. Our dealer in Worcestershire has told us there may be a delay of weeks obtaining bottles for exchange. I tried an accessory shop and they wanted £25.99 for a refill.
The local Calor Gas depot in Worcester is also talking about weeks before they can get refills. We don't really want to pay the £25.99 as we feel they are taking advantage of the situation. We still have a full 6kg bottle but like having a back up. Any
one else experiencing the same difficulty?
